The North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club is one of the premier clubs actively patrolling the beaches on the Eastern Coast of Australia. We have been carrying out this service to our local community for the past 105 years. We have over 400 male and female members voluntarily patrolling the beach every weekend and public holidays during the months September through to April each year.
We are very much a non-profit organisation. While we are first and foremost a club dedicated to protecting and saving the lives of people who use North Bondi beach, we also offer our members the chance to test the skills in competition against other members from Surf Life Saving clubs around Australia. This element of the surf club activity enables members to improve their fitness and raise the awareness and profile of our club to the broader community. The club actively supports these pursuits because it allows the members to get opportunities back from the club in recognition for the time spent patrolling on the beach.
We pride ourselves on being a club where people from all walks of life can meet, make new friends, provide service back to our local community and enjoy the friendship that results from this. Our club can offer a combination of benefits that a sponsoring organisation receives in return for supporting us financially.
