Nippers FAQ

How old does my child need to be to join Nippers?

Your child must have turned 5 by 30 September 2019. Unfortunately, due to Surf Lifesaving Australia requirements, there are no exceptions.

Am I able to redeem my Active Kids Voucher for Nippers?

Yes – Please have the voucher number ready when you start the online registration for your child.  As soon as you go onto the payment screen you will be asked for the voucher number.  If you exit from the payment screen because you haven’t got it – you will not be given the option to enter the voucher again.

Does my child need to complete a pool swim proficiency if they did one last year?

Yes. A pool swim proficiency needs to be done every year for every age group from Under 8 and up. If your swim coach is able, please get them to sign the certificate.

Click here to download the swim proficiency form

If your child does not attend swim lessons, or their coach will not sign the swim certificate you child will need to attend the North Bondi pool proficiency swim on Saturday, 27 July between 10.15 am and 12.15 pm at Tivoli Swim School (Kambala School – enter via Tivoli Avenue, Rose Bay).  North Bondi will NOT hold any other pool proficiency swims.

Your completed swim certificate will need to be emailed to memberservices@northbondisurfclub.com at the SAME TIME you complete your registration.  It must be saved as “LASTNAME.FIRSTNAME_SWIM” otherwise it will be rejected by the server and your registration will not be accepted.

Having your coach fill out the form means you will not need to attend Tivoli Swim School on Saturday 1st September from 10.15 am – 12.15 pm.
