The Club Office is located on the ground floor (beach side entrance) and operates all year round.

Julien Palmer

General Manager

Julien Palmer is the Club’s General Manager, responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Club and providing exceptional service to members and the community. Julien has previously been in a development and project role at SLSA, and prior to this held roles at Australian Sailing and various marketing and commercial roles. Julien has a young family and is a keen sportsman.

Bec Mancini

Office Administrator

Bec started working at North Bondi Surf Club in 2021 as Nipper Coordinator, responsible for the coordination of the nipper program as well as performing other administrative tasks to support the operations of the Club. In 2024 Bec became the Office Administrator. Bec looks after North Bondi memberships, daily office queries and is pivotal for all sections of the Club, especially lifesaving and education. Bec has two children who are active nipper members. Prior to working at North Bondi Bec worked in Financial Services.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Glenn ‘Nish’ Annear

Caretaker

Nish (Glenn) Annear is the Club’s Facilities Manager, responsible for overseeing the successful operation, service, and repair of the Club and its facilities. He manages the setup, pack up and the Audio Visual aspects of our function rooms. He assists the office crew to provide the exceptional service to members and the community. Nish has an extremely diverse background which has given him the many and varied skills required to fulfill his role. When not busy around the club, you will probably find Nish in the surf.

Sophie Thomson

Functions & Events Manager

Sophie Thomson is the Functions & Events manager at the Club. She has worked in the Club’s function operations in various capacities over more than 10 years. Sophie is responsible for delivering client functions and member events and the overall success of the functions business. She is a long service member and keen surf competitor, carrying on the family tradition in the ocean.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pip Holst

Nippers Administrator

Pip is the Club’s nipper coordinator. She is responsible for the coordination of the nipper program as well as performing other administrative task to support the operations of the club. Pips’ husband is a patroller and IRB Driver, and she has 2 daughters participating in Nippers. Pip brings extensive administration and management experience to the role and is keen to further enhance the North Bondi Nipper Program.

Thomas Jensen

Bar Manager

Tom (TJ) is the venue manager at the club. He has an extensive background of 7 years in hospitality working as a Sommelier, restaurant manager, and general manager along with many other roles, and completed a degree in Hospitality management at ICMS in Manly. Tom manages the bars of the club, the bar staff, and all beverage aspects of the club. He is a frequent face in and around Bondi, spending most of his time in the water Surfing or competing in the Friday Biathlon.
