Mermaid Rocks Critical Incident 15/02/2020

On Saturday 15th February in treacherous storm conditions there was a major incident off Mermaid Rocks at North Bondi, involving 2 members of the public at approx. 5.30pm. Patrol 11 were on duty at the time and did an extraordinary job in assisting in the search and retrieval of the patient, along with Waverley Lifeguards and other support Services. 

North Bondi SLSC would like to recognise the patrol members for their call to service and the professional manner in which they conducted themselves throughout the incident. Through their actions Patrol 11 have represented Surf Lifesaving in an outstanding manner and made North Bondi SLSC proud. Thank you.
