As one of Australia’s oldest and most famous surf clubs,
North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club is a wonderful blend of the best
of old and new in Australian life saving
North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club is built upon a rich and rewarding history of life saving and volunteer service to the community. Formed in 1906 as one of the first clubs in Australia, our club has a proud tradition of more than 100 years providing essential beach safety, life saving services, and community events to members of the public.
Our Club is passionate about providing a diverse range of activities and surf sports for our members. From nippers to adults, we deliver Surf Life Saving education and training, surf sports development, local and national competition, community ocean events, and nationally recognised certifications and awards in first aid, resuscitation, and many other qualifications.
‘North Bondi Surf Club’, as it is affectionately known, is one of 15 affiliated clubs that make up the Sydney Branch of Surf Life Saving Australia. With over 3,000 members, we take great pride in surf patrols on the busiest beach in Australia from early September until early April.
Becoming an active member of North Bondi Surf Club is a rewarding experience and comes with a huge range of benefits, including:
